The mobile PCR laboratory can be selected in an outdoor vacant area, such as a parking lot, idle green space, etc., which not only solves the problem of insufficient laboratory area. problem, and can better solve the risk of pollution.
Due to the recent epidemic, especially the Wuhan epidemic, many people know the shelter hospital in Wuhan, and they also know that the main carrier in the nucleic acid test is the on-board P3 laboratory. The mobile PCR laboratory and the on-board P3 laboratory have similarities and their own characteristics.
Let's first understand the on-board P3 laboratory
The vehicle-mounted P3 laboratory can be a mobile biosafety protection tertiary laboratory. When a major sudden and severe infectious disease occurs, it can immediately go to the epidemic area to test the virus. There is no need to transport dangerous samples halfway, and at the same time ensure that all biological pollutants are safely and airtight. The vehicle-mounted P3 laboratory has outstanding features such as mobility, rapid response, safety and reliability, and economy and practicality. It can be applied to the rapid response of the army during wartime; agriculture and animal husbandry are especially suitable for the timely monitoring and control of sudden epidemics in the vast pastoral areas; health departments, especially disease prevention and control agencies, can be used in disaster-stricken areas in a timely manner; it can be used at entry-exit inspection and quarantine ports at any time. It also has an excellent safety guarantee function.
After experiencing the rampage of SARS and avian influenza, my country has stepped up the construction of biosafety laboratories. In 2004, my country introduced 4 sets of internationally advanced vehicle-mounted BSL-3 laboratories, which were allocated to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangdong Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, respectively, and enjoyed the use and management rights of the equipment. However, when a major epidemic occurs in other places, it will be deployed and used by the state. It is reported that these mobile BSL-3 laboratories are products produced by French LABOVER company. Each set of equipment is worth nearly 8 million yuan.
This set of "sky-high" laboratories is quite large and has been customized by professional vehicle manufacturers - a white laboratory vehicle with a length of 12 meters, a height of 2.9 meters and a width of 2.45 meters. The car is divided into three parts: buffer room, core laboratory and technical room. The air pressure in the buffer room is 10 Pa higher than the normal air pressure. The experimenter must wear standard protective clothing in the buffer room, enter the transfer room of -30 Pa, and then the shower room of -40 Pa. After disinfection and cleaning, he finally enters the core laboratory with an air pressure of -60 Pa. This "ladder design" of air pressure can "lock" the laboratory
The vehicle-mounted P3 laboratory is composed of the main experimental cabin and the personnel purification and technical support cabin. In the overall layout, "three zones and two slows" are realized, that is, between the polluted area and the semi-polluted area, and between the semi-polluted area and the clean area, respectively. Self-cleaning transfer windows are set up, and safety doors and equipment doors are located in the semi-polluted area; scientific control of the "four streams" of people, objects, gas and water is realized in the workflow. The sewage collection and high-pressure steam sterilization system can safely discharge the sewage generated by the experiment after high temperature and high-pressure sterilization. The inflatable closed door is placed between the two cabins that are most likely to leak, and normal sealing strips are installed to achieve "double insurance".
The shape of the movable PCR laboratory is similar to the above-mentioned P3 laboratory structure. Weather-resistant steel is used as the main frame, stainless steel is the inner and outer baffle, and the inner baffle can also be made of aluminum alloy plate. The door frame and corner seal are made of aluminum alloy material, and polyurethane is filled with insulation layer. Solar panels are installed on the top surface of the laboratory, and power is provided by local power supply facilities. You can choose to place air conditioning fresh air units on one side of the laboratory or outside the laboratory. The laboratory is equipped with a communication system as required, and all recording papers are transmitted through communication lines. The laboratory can be equipped with various facilities according to the requirements of use. In addition, the bottom of the movable PCR laboratory is supported by a square tube, and a movable roller is installed at the same time, so it has the dual characteristics of stability and mobility.
The laboratory is equipped with basic experimental facilities and conditions, including strong toxic operation rooms, buffer rooms and changing rooms equipped with biological safety cabinets. It can fully meet the living conditions of operators, and there is an air filtration system to ensure cleanliness; there is a temperature/humidity control system to ensure a constant temperature in the laboratory; all external exhaust gases in the laboratory are discharged to the outdoors through high-efficiency filters; all dirt must be sterilized by an autoclave before being taken out of the outdoors.
The temperature and humidity, pressure layer, noise, lighting, ventilation times, cleanliness, etc. of the microenvironment in the laboratory are designed according to the requirements stipulated in GB 50346-2011 "Technical Specifications for Biological Safety Laboratory Buildings". The laboratory adopts a new ventilation and air conditioning system, the exhaust air is filtered at two levels of high efficiency, and the filtration efficiency is ≥ 99.995%; the air supply is filtered at three levels of primary, medium and high efficiency, and the filtration efficiency is ≥ 99.995%. After the operation is completed, the cabin can be disinfected and treated with dirt and sewage; an indoor fumigation and disinfection bypass system is set up. Under the power of the exhaust fan, the fumigation and disinfection gas circulates in the room and the pipeline system to realize the thorough disinfection of the room, filter and pipeline system. disinfection.
Since the laboratory is assembled in an iron airtight box, it has excellent anti-leakage function and seismic function, and its safety and practicability are greatly enhanced.
